Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Red Traffic Light Update

We are very disappointed to announce that the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon series for 2022 will not be able to proceed as planned.
Unfortunately, we are unable to run the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon events in the ‘Red’ setting of the Government’s COVID-19 Traffic Light system. The “Red” setting restricts all events over 100 attendees. Given the emergence and timing of Omicron in the community, it will not be possible to operate any of our 10 planned events in Term 1.  As a summer event, we unfortunately also cannot postpone the series to later in Term 2 or 3.

Our team have worked tirelessly to plan these events over the past months, and we know that our Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon community will be as disappointed as we are about this news.

We are, however, very excited to offer TRY CHALLENGE – a new programme that allows families and schools to create their own TRY CHALLENGE event to earn their TRY Champions t-shirt and medal.  TRY CHALLENGE is designed to make staying active and healthy as fun and affordable as possible. More information can be found here.

If you had registered to participate in one of this year’s Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon events, we will be in contact with your refund options.

We hope that you all remain healthy and safe,

The Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon team
