Terms and Conditions

Event Entry into and participation in any Sanitarium™ Weet-Bix™ Kids TRYathlon Event held between 22 November 2023 to 27 March 2024 (Event) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by entrants and their parent or guardian, including any information on how to enter and prizes. Events are scheduled as follows:

Can I Enter? Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 6-15 years old. (Eligible Entrant).

 

Parent or Guardian Approval You must have your parent or guardian’s approval to enter. Your parent or guardian must have read and consented to these Terms and Conditions and may need to enter into an agreement to show their consent to you entering the Event, Promotion or accepting any Prize. Parents, if you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you agree you will not register your child to enter any Event.

 

When can I enter the Event?  Entry opens on 21 August 2023 and ends on 7 April 2024. 
How do I enter? To enter the Event and be able to access the programme benefits, you must register to participate by visiting tryathlon.co.nz and following the prompts to enter your details and chose one of the entry options (fees vary based on time of registration, method of registration, number of family members, number of events and Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Foundation support) outlined.

 

Can I enter multiple times? Only one entry is permitted per person, per event location.

 

Withdrawing from an Event  If you wish to withdraw from an Event, you must inform the Sanitarium™ Weet-Bix™ Kids TRYathlon™ Customer Services Team via email on TRYathlon@sanitarium.co.nz. Withdrawals after the relevant entry closing date listed above will not be entitled to a refund. Withdrawals prior to the closing date will be entitled to a refund of any entry fee paid at that time, less a $10.00 cancellation fee and less the $15.00 TRYathlete Pack fee where applicable (unless the TRYathlete Pack is returned following the instructions provided by the Customer Services Team) and any postage and handling fees will not be refunded.

 

Parent or Guardian Acknowledgement and Waiver In consideration for allowing my child to participate in the Event, I acknowledge that (both on my own behalf and on behalf of the child participating in the Event) that my child will participate in the Event on these Terms and Conditions and I represent, warrant, acknowledge and accept:

  • Authority: I am the parent and/or legal guardian of my child and I have the authority to bind myself and my child to these Terms and Conditions;
  • Age: my child will be between the ages of 6 and 15 years (as at the date of the relevant Event);
  • Supervision: I will provide safety precautions and appropriate and adequate supervision of my child while they participate in the Event;
  • Rules: I will ensure my child obeys and accepts the Event rules and any other instructions issued by the Promoter or its contractors and agents in relation to the Event at any time and my child must satisfy any eligibility criteria determined by the Promoter in relation to the Event;
  • Risks: I freely and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child participating in the Event and acknowledge that my child’s participation is entirely at their, and my, own risk and that I may withdraw my child from the Event at any time;
  • Acknowledgement: I acknowledge that the Event involves participating in a sporting activity, leisure time pursuit and/or activity involving physical exertion      and is undertaken for the purpose of recreation, enjoyment or leisure. I understand there are inherent risks, hazards and dangers associated with the Event and my child may suffer serious injury, or even death, as well as property loss or damage as a result of participation in the Event including as a result of (among other things) over exertion, equipment failure, dehydration, accidents with other participants, spectators or road users, course or weather conditions and other causes;
  • Fitness: my child is physically and medically fit to participate in the Event and I am not aware of any condition, impairment, disease, illness or other reason why my child should not participate in the Event and I understand my child should not participate in the Event unless they have prepared appropriately; 
  • Laws: in participating in the Event I agree that my child and I will act responsibly and adhere to all New Zealand laws (including but not limited to COVID-19 rules) and restrictions (where applicable); 
  • Injuries: the Promoter shall not be held liable for any injuries or losses suffered by my child in participating the Event;
  • Medical Treatment: and consent to my child receiving and to pay for any medical treatment at the Event (including, without limitation, ambulance transportation and paramedic treatment) which is considered by the Promoter and its medical treatment provider to be advisable or deemed reasonable or necessary before, during or after the Event. I indemnify and will keep indemnified the Promoter for all costs associated with any such medical treatment.
  • Safety Precautions: that any safety precautions taken by the Promoter (including, without limitation, course supervision, safety briefings and bicycle safety checks) are a service to my child and other participants but not a guarantee of safety, and that while the Promoter takes reasonable steps to supervise participants, I am ultimately responsible for the supervision of my child;
  • Teams: if my child registers to compete in the Event with another child I remain responsible for payment of the applicable fees for my child, and the Promoter is not responsible if the other team member is unable to participate for any reason (including non-payment or eligibility) and my child may need to undertake another stage of the Event in order to complete the Event;
  • Reputation: I will ensure my child and myself do not do anything which may adversely affect, prejudice or bring into disrepute the reputation of the Promoter or the Event;
  • Registration: that my child’s registration is not transferable to any other person, and if my child’s entry form and payment is not received by the Promoter prior to the closing dates given, my child may not be able to participate and/or late fees may also apply;
  • Access: that I am responsible for ensuring that your account details are accurate and up to date, and for keeping your account details and password confidential;
  • Cancellations: while the Promoter will use all reasonable efforts to ensure the Event is conducted as advertised, I acknowledge that by reason of circumstances beyond the control of the event organisers, it may become necessary or desirable to change the form of the event and if that occurs, I consent to the changes and I agree that each and every one of the conditions set out herein shall apply to that changed event;
  • Refunds: my child’s participation in the Event is at the sole discretion of the Promoter and accept that Promoter may cancel or postpone the Event. If the event is cancelled by the Promoter for any reason, I understand that I will not be refunded the costs associated with entry or any TRYathlon™ t-shirt & medal packs already couriered, however, if the TRYathlon™ t-shirt & medal pack has not been packed for then I will be entitled to a full refund, and in the event of any postponement my child’s entry will be transferred to the new date;
  • Indemnity: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I indemnify and will keep indemnified the Promoter and each of their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, promoters, independent contractors and agents (Sanitarium Parties) against all costs, losses or damages however caused, arising from or in relation to my child’s participation in the Event;
  • Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability to me and my child in connection to the Event and any liability for a breach of any non-excludable guarantee is limited to a refund of any Event fees paid to the Promoter in connection with my child’s entry into the Event.
  • Information: as part of the registration process I will need to provide my email, address and telephone number as well as details regarding my child’s ability to participate and that their first and last name will appear on their Event bib sticker which will be required to be worn during the Event; 
  • Documentation: I will enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to my child, being a minor, participating in the Event; and
  • Risk Warning: I acknowledge this is a risk warning as applicable under applicable laws including common law and the New Zealand Consumer Law.
Parent or Guardian Consent Unless I expressly inform the Promoter in writing otherwise (with the Promoter’s express acknowledgement of receipt), and in consideration of allowing my child to participate in the nominated Event, I consent to:

  • Recordings: the recording of my and my child’s likeness and/or voice by any means including but not limited to audio and visual recordings by television cameras and photographers engaged by the Promoter and including those photographs and/or videos shared by me or my child on the Event Facebook page and including (together Images);
  • Information: the Promoter collecting and using my child’s personal details including first name, 
  • Images: use of the Images by the Promoter or their commercial partners before, during or after the Event, for promotional, marketing, broadcasting, reporting or surveying purposes in any media worldwide, including but not limited to, for the purpose of promoting the Promoter’s current and future events held in Australia and New Zealand without compensation to me or any person (including, recording my child’s participation in the Event and using the Images at the venue and on vision screens); and
  • Marketing: from time to time the Promoter contacting me to provide information about other products and services offered by the Promoter, or other service providers who have a relationship with the Promoter, that the Promoter considers may be of interest to my child or me be via mail, phone, email and/or SMS.

To opt out of direct marketing from the Promoter, or to advise the Promoter that you do not consent to the use of personal details, images and photographs in the manner described above, contact the Promoter on +64 9 625 0700, by email TRYathlon@sanitairum.co.nz or post to Private Bag 9212, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142, New Zealand.

Photo pack I acknowledge that I also have the option to purchase images of my child and agree to the following terms and conditions, which will apply if I select and pay for the digital photo pack during registering my child for the Event, I understand and agree that:  

 

  • Format: the digital images will not be provided as printed photographs, and will be provided as downloadable digital images and all images are full resolution electronic downloadable images only of approximately 1 megabyte in file size; 
  • Images: photographers are positioned at the swim, ride, run and medal location, however images at each location cannot be guaranteed and I may not receive an image of my child at all locations, other participants may be in the images and my child must wear their identification number in a clear and prominent fashion during and after the event to enable the best chance of photographing my child;
  • Access: after the event I will be sent an email from Supersport Images containing my username and password, and in order to receive my child’s digital images I must follow the directions and redeem the images online by the date communicated and the Promoter and Supersport Images are not responsible for late, lost or misdirected correspondence and that I must contact Supersport Images within 2 weeks of the applicable Event if I have not received the email containing my user name and password to access the images; and
  • Costs: the fees for the digital photo pack has been communicated to me at the time of selection (including GST) (Photo Fee) and I have given permission to pay for the Photo Fee via my credit card (if paying via credit card) and take full responsibility for such payment. 
Promo      Codes I acknowledge and understand that when using an applicable promotion code, it must be entered in the ‘Promo Code’ field when completing an online registration or in the space provided on any hard copy registration form. Promotion codes are limited to the use of one code per transaction and using a promotion code does not guarantee entry into any Event and registration details that include a promotion      code must be submitted prior to the online registration closing date or before the event sells out. All discount codes expire on 8:00am Sunday 27th March 2024. 
Purchasing Merchandise       

  • Orders:
    You can place an order by following our website prompts. Orders must be from New Zealand. The Promoter reserves the right to accept or reject your order for any reason, including if the requested merchandise is not available, there is an error in the price or merchandise description on this website or an error in your order. Each accepted order results in a separate binding agreement between you and the Promoter for the supply of that merchandise on these Terms. If an order placed through the Website is rejected, the Promoter will endeavour to notify you of that rejection as soon as possible. 
  • Payment:
    All prices are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of any applicable goods and services tax. Payment is via debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). You will be charged during the purchasing process and prior to delivery. If we are unable to charge your credit or debit card due to insufficient funds or other errors your order will be cancelled.
  • Delivery:
    • Delivery of merchandise will be via New Zealand Post or another carrier to the New Zealand delivery address you have nominated in your order. 
    • Once your order is dispatched, it is not possible to change your nominated delivery address.
    •      If you are not home to receive your order it will be taken to the nearest Post Office for safekeeping and you will need to collect it. Alternatively, if you have chosen to receive unattended delivery, your order will be left in a suitable spot at your nominated delivery address.
    • Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and delivery address. Allow at least 7 business days for delivery.
    • Any applicable delivery fees will be communicated to you before you place your order and must be paid at the same time and in the same manner as you pay for your order.
    • Risk in merchandise passes to you on the date and time of delivery to the delivery address nominated in your order (including for unattended deliveries). You are responsible for the safe-keeping of your order once it is left at your nominated address.
    • You warrant that the person receiving merchandise at your nominated delivery address is authorised by you to do so.
  • Event Collection
    • If you select a “Pack Pick Up” option for your TRYathlete Pack during the registration process, your merchandise will be made available at the location communicated to you in your order. 
    • If you do not collect the merchandise at the location and before the time communicated to you in your order, you will not be entitled to a refund but can inform the Promoter via email on TRYathlon@sanitarium.co.nz or calling 0800 WEETBIX within two weeks of the collection date to arrange postage of the merchandise for an additional fee.
    • Risk in merchandise passes to you on the date and time of collection and you are responsible for the safe-keeping of your order from that point.
    • You warrant that the person collecting products at your nominated collection address is authorised by you to do so.
  • Incorrect Iron-on Letters:

If the incorrect iron-on letters are delivered to you and you notify the Promoter in advance of the event, an exchange to the correct letters can be made available for collection on the day of the event, or posted in advance of the event if time permits. Please notify via email on TRYathlon@sanitarium.co.nz or by calling 0800 WEETBIX and follow the instructions provided.

  • Changing or cancelling orders:

Once you have placed an order it is not possible to change or cancel the order or your payment method. This is because of the timeframe in which your order is picked and packed for delivery.

  • Out of stocks and substitution

If you place an order for a merchandise that is out of stock or unavailable, the Promoter will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible and arrange either a refund or supply of a substitute merchandise.  

  • Returns and refunds
    • Please choose carefully as no refunds or returns for change of mind, personal preference or incorrectly purchased merchandise are offered. If you would like to exchange merchandise, you may notify via email on TRYathlon@sanitarium.co.nz or calling 0800 WEETBIX within two weeks from the purchase date and it may be possible accommodate exchanges taking into account available stock, event timing and postage costs, however merchandise must first be returned to the address notified in the same condition they were received (tags on and items unused) following the instructions provided.
    • If you receive damaged merchandise, you can make a claim for a refund or replacement. To lodge a claim, please send an email with a clear photo of the damaged merchandise via email on TRYathlon@sanitarium.co.nz or calling 0800 WEETBIX. Please ensure that you keep hold of any damaged merchandise until advised that they can be discarded.
  • Personal use only:
    You are not permitted to purchase any merchandise for resale to a third party for retail, wholesale or trade purposes without our prior written consent. 
  • New Zealand Consumer Law:

Merchandise comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified under the New Zealand Consumer Law. For major failures with a good, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund of the price paid for the goods and to cancel any contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Event Alteration and Cancellation If any Event is altered (including but not limited to, a change in location or change in format to a duathlon, aquathon or fun run event) or cancelled, notification will be given as soon as reasonably practicable, and prior to 6:30am on the day of the Event where possible. Notification will be given over the public address system (where safe to do so), posted on the Weet-Bix brand and Event social media and communicated via email to the address given during registration for the Event. If an Event is cancelled (not postponed or altered) a refund will be provided to all registered participants with further detail on options and timings provided at the relevant time. 

 

Social media terms If you have any questions or comments about the Event, please direct them to the Promoter (contact details below), not any relevant social media platform. The Promotion is in no way sponsored by, endorsed or administered by any social media platform including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or TikTok and entrants release all relevant social media platforms from any and all liability and agree to comply with any of their applicable terms of use.
Entries The Promoter reserves the right to disallow entries in its absolute discretion; verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize or allow participation in any Event where dishonest or misleading details have been given, or an entrant has behaved in a dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Event.
Promoter’s Rights The Promoter reserves the right to: 

  • disallow entries in its absolute discretion; 
  • verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to allow Event participation or award a prize or allow participation in any Event where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion; 
  • to terminate or amend any aspect of any Event without notice at any time in its sole discretion in the event that the Event or Promotion or any aspect of the Event or Promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned; and
  • enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Liability The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is or may be suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and in relation to any warranty or guarantee) or for personal injury which is or may be suffered or sustained, in connection with participation in the Event, Promotion, merchandise or accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. This includes but is not limited to any tax liability or tax implications. In relation to any liability that cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, agents and contractors’ liability will be limited to a refund of any registration fees paid to the Promoter in connection with entry into any relevant Event.

 

NZ Consumer Law Nothing in this Terms and Conditions exclude, limit or modify the application of the New Zealand Consumer Law or any other applicable laws, or the exercise of any rights or remedies conferred by the New Zealand Consumer Law or other applicable laws where to do so would contravene the New Zealand Consumer Law or other applicable laws.
Privacy The information collected about entrants in the course of the Event has been requested to enable the Promoter to conduct the Event and Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including publicity), and for the Promoter to send you additional informational or marketing material. The Promoter may disclose personal information to third parties who assist the Promoter to carry out the Event and Promotion, including Race Roster Oceania Pty Ltdreferred to below. The Promoter will act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Sanitarium Privacy Policy which can be found here: Privacy | Sanitarium Health Food Company

 

Personal information I acknowledge that my personal information and my child’s personal information is collected and used by Sanitarium for the purposes of registering my child for, conducting and improving the Event including facilitating and expediting medical assistance to the participants to protect their health and safety in the event of an incident, providing any merchandise which I have purchased from Sanitarium, facilitating fundraising and processing any donations made by me in relation to the Event or a charity which Sanitarium collects funds for, and such other purposes as set out in this clause and in Sanitarium’s privacy policy (available at https://tryathlon.co.nz/privacy-policy/). Sanitarium may disclose my personal information and my child’s personal information to third parties who assist Sanitarium to carry out the above purposes such as Race Roster Oceania Pty Ltd, Super Sports Images, Platinum Sponsors of the Event if you decide to opt in when registering to the Event, Weet-Bix TRYathlon Foundation (a charitable organisation which Sanitarium collects funds for) and I consent for this to occur. While overseas parties are subject to privacy obligations, I accept that such obligations may differ from and be less stringent than the requirements of the privacy laws of New Zealand.  If the personal information is not provided then my child may not participate in the Event. I understand that my child’s first name and suburb may appear on the Series website located at https://tryathlon.co.nz/ once they are registered. I consent, unless I otherwise advise Sanitarium using the contact details below: 

 

  • to Sanitarium using my child’s personal details including first name, and also image and photograph before, during or after the Event, for promotional, marketing, broadcasting, reporting or surveying purposes in any media worldwide, including but not limited to, for the purpose of promoting Sanitarium’s current and future events held in Australia and New Zealand; and 
  • allowing Super Sports Images to include my child’s photograph and details on their website. 
Race Roster I acknowledge that my personal information and my Child’s personal information is collected and used by Race Roster Oceania Pty Ltd (Race Roster) for the sole purposes of processing the registration of my Child for the Event (including fees payable by me in relation to such registration), the purchase of any merchandise sold by Sanitarium and/or the payment of any donations in relation to the Event or a charity which Sanitarium collects funds for. I acknowledge that Race Roster and Sanitarium may disclose my personal information and my Child’s personal information to Weet-Bix TRYathlon Foundation (a charitable organisation which Sanitarium collects funds for the purposes of facilitating fundraising and processing donations made to that charity). Race Roster may disclose my personal information and my Child’s personal information to School Group coordinator representing your Child’s school to facilitate the registration process of the students of the registered and Sanitarium approved School Group. I acknowledge that Race Roster may disclose my personal information and my Child’s personal information to third parties who assist Race Roster to carry out the above purposes including to Sanitarium, Supersport Images and School Group coordinators.  Race Roster will not disclose my personal information and my Child’s personal information overseas.  If the personal information is not provided then my Child may not participate in the Event. Race Roster’s Privacy Policy (available at https://raceroster.com/legal/privacy-policy) contains further information about how I may access and/or correct the personal information held about me and my Child as required by law, as well as information about making a complaint about the treatment of personal information and how Race Roster will deal with such a complaint.

Promoter The promoter is NEW ZEALAND HEALTH ASSOCIATION LIMITED trading as the Sanitarium Health Food Company, 124 Pah Road, Royal Oak, Auckland, New Zealand 1023 (Promoter). The Promoter can be contacted at: 0800 100 257. All decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Prize & Competition Policies

TRY CHALLENGE Email Marketing Promotion 2024 - New Zealand

  1. Promotion

Entry into and participation in any email marketing giveaway communicated via Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon email account is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including any information on how to enter and prizes (Promotion).

  1. Can I Enter?

Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older. You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee or member of the immediate family of an employee of the Promoter, or its related corporations or agencies.

  1. When can I enter?

The Promotion commences at the time a promotional email is sent and ends at the time set out in the Promotional Email (the Promotional Period).

  1. How do I enter?

To enter the Promotion and be eligible to win, you must follow the instructions set out on the Promotional Email during the Promotional Period.

You are not permitted to use any automated entry software or other mechanical or electronic means that allows you to automatically enter or enter repeatedly.

  1. Multiple entries

Only one entry is permitted per person.

  1. Prizes

The prizes are outlined in the Promotional Email (Prize(s)). The Promoter may provide an alternative prize of equal value if all or part of a prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control. Prizes, or any unused portion of any Prize, are not transferable, exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise specified.

  1. Winners

Unless otherwise set out in the Promotional Email, there will be a prize draw with winners drawn on the dates set out in the Promotional Email, with winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries.

  1. Winner notification

Winners will be notified on or before two business days from the date of winner selection.

  1. Unclaimed Prizes

If a winner does not take or claim a Prize (for any reason such as providing incorrect contact details or not responding to Direct Messages within 7 days) then the Prize will be forfeited. If any Prize that remains unallocated or unclaimed after 14 days, a further draw for unallocated and/or unclaimed Prizes will take place, with selection from all non-winning entries.

  1. Cost of Entry

You are responsible for any costs associated with entering the Promotion including associated with accessing the internet. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems with communications networks and use of mechanical or electronic tools that allow for repeated entries is not permitted.

  1. Receipt of Entries

Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.

  1. Promoter’s Rights

The Promoter reserves the right to:

  • disallow entries in its absolute discretion;
  • verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a Prize where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion;
  • to terminate this Promotion or amend any aspect of this Promotion (including the Prize) without notice at any time in its sole discretion if this Promotion or any aspect of this Promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned; and
  • enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  1. Liability

The Promotor is making monthly prizes available to those who share their participation in any Event (Promotion).

  1. To enter, you must:

Step 1 – Record it: Take video and or/photos of their child training for the TRYathlon or TRY CHALLENGE.  Individuals submitting videos and/or photos of a child that is not their own must have permission of the child’s parent or guardian to enter them in the Event, and for the video and/or photos to be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and

Step 2 – Share it: Post your video and/or photos on your own/schools Facebook or Instagram account (Please note, post settings must be public in order to see the Entry); and

Step 3 – Encourage others: Nominate three (3) friends or schools who should complete their very own TRY training by tagging them in your post; and

Step 4 – Tell us: Tag Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon New Zealand Facebook page @tryathlon or our Instagram @kiwikidstry in your post and use the hashtag #KiwiKidsTRYThe Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. Winners (or if a Winner is under 18 years of age their parent or guardian on their behalf) must upon request supply suitable identification at the time that the Promoter delivers the prize.

  1. Multiple entries are permitted per person, however each entry must be substantially unique, submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements set out in clause 8 and these Terms and Conditions.
  2. If there is a dispute concerning the conduct of this promotion, the Promoter will consider the entrant’s grievances however reserves the right to resolve the dispute in the manner it determines most appropriate, acting reasonably.

Monthly winners will be selected at 1pm on Wednesday 1st November, Friday 1st December, Monday 8th January, Thursday 1st March, Monday 1st April, Wednesday 1st May, Monday 3rd June and Monday 1st July at 124 Pah Road, Royal Oak, Auckland by a member of the Weet-Bix Marketing Team. This is a game of skill and the most creative Entry each week will win.
  4. The Winners will be notified via Instagram or Facebook no later than 2 works days from the Draw date.
  5. The Winners must claim their prize in accordance with the instructions which Sanitarium will send to the Winners by email.
  6. Subject to clause 12, the Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  8. There are no bonus prizes awarded as part of this promotion.
  9. The Promoter will despatch the Prize to each Winner no later than 60 days after the date on which the relevant Winner provides their postal address to the Promoter.
  10. If a winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.
  11. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  12. If for any reason a Winner does not take or claim a prize (or an element of a prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and the Promoter may offer the prize (or that element of the prize) to a Runner Up (as defined in clause 13(c)).

Event Partners

TRY TRAINER PROGRAMME WAIVER

  1. You are a guardian of the TRYathlete who intends to use the Weet-Bix TRY Training Programmes.
  2. You agree and acknowledge the following:
    • (a) The TRYathlete will be at least 6 years of age on the day of the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event in which he or she is participating in.
    • (b) You will be responsible for the training environment the TRYathlete uses to undertake the Weet-Bix TRY Training Programme and will supervise the TRYathlete at all times during his or her use of the Weet-Bix TRY Training  Programme.
    • (c) The TRYathlete uses the Weet-Bix TRY Training Programme at his or her own risk.
