Becoming a vendor at the 2019/2020 Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids Tryathlon
The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon aims to promote kids staying active and healthy through a programme of participation. It’s about getting out there, giving it a TRY, achieving a personal goal, and improving self-esteem and confidence.
The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon will be entering its 28th year in 2019!
The 2018/2019 TRYathlon had 31,642 children participating nationwide, alongside the support of their families and schools. Last series, Eight of the 18 events sold out with eight events also setting new participation records.
With an increased target estimate of 32,775 expected to attend the 2019/2020 series, as well as TWO NEW EVENTS, there will be plenty of Kiwi kids and their families to feed for our food vendors throughout the country.
To ensure the best experience for the public and vendors alike, we have a specific target number of vendors for each event based on the number of participants attending. In doing so, we hope to eliminate having too many or too few vendors onsite.
The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is very passionate about the health and well-being of our Kiwi kids, therefore all onsite food vendor’s menus need to be healthy and nutritious. Menus must include a minimum of 50% vegetarian options with the other 50% is able to include chicken, fish, beef, lamb and/or vegetarian. More details can be found under the Terms and Conditions.
To complete your Food Vendor Application you will need to upload a proposed menu. Please download and fill out the Proposed Menu Template here.
